Good day! This monument has an interesting history of its origin! Since at this place I participated in the adjustment of the existing monument, it certainly leaves much to be desired, although my sketches for adjustment were better! (The sketches were uploaded in the form of a tulip flower) Rather, the competition in which I participated only gave me the opportunity to understand my skills. In the spring of 2020, the architect of the city asked me to provide a couple of sketches for the monument at the entrance to the city, which I responded to. The development of the sketch took 2 hours since the idea was already in my head. The task of the competition was to develop a monument with a place for placing advertisements or information, 30 meters high and 8 meters in diameter, since the site is on the ring road and the space is limited, the structure was supposed to be light and not too gravel. I took Shukhov's hyperboloid as the basis for the construction. Perhaps you have met Shukhov's projects on reservoirs and you will understand what the idea was. The area where the monument was to be built has a harsh continental climate with not so much strong winds, but still there is a lot of wind. Therefore, it was important for me not to put obstacles to the winds. the object was supposed to be on the roundabout at the entrance to the city. The uploaded files provide views both during the day and at night. Hope to win a nomination and contribute to architecture. Well, in the preface I would like to say that I am inspired by outstanding engineers and architects such as Norman Foster, Shukhov. The materials of the monument are steel, made up of corners and sheet steel. Thank you for participating in the contests for the first time and I believe in victory!
