Budapest Design Week (BDW) is one of the most notable design events in Hungary. Organised yearly, the event features the works of local designers, organising open studios, holding workshops and hosting international design speaks. 

The Budapest Design Week festival is curated and financed by the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, organised by the Hungarian Design Council. 

The event hosts a series of programmes including events organised for the general audience (exhibitions, workshop visits), events targeting the trade (roundtable discussions, presentations, conferences, award galas, webinars, etc.), as well as elements that expressly help economic decision-makers in their work (investor meetings, presentation of case studies, lectures, workshops).

Budapest Design Week (BDW) will be held between August 10-17, 2021 at multiple venues across Budapest.
