WAC Announces Most Active Country Editors/Reporters Of November

World Architecture Community proudly announces that two Country Reporters/Editors have been named as the most active Country Reporters/Editors of November for successfully completing at least three articles in the WAC's Country Editors/Reporters Program

In November, WAC's the Netherlands Country Reporter Lola Kleindouwel, WAC's India Country Editor Pappal Suneja among the most successful names of November. 

WAC's voluntary-based Country Editors/Reporters Program was launched in December 2017 to disseminate local architecture, knowledge and local news and to assign new volunteer journalists and writers as the face of their country. The goal of the program is to enrich local context and news, connect local architects to the world of architecture and expand our ability to share exclusive and local news with our global audience. 

Reaching a great success in a short period of time, the program is composed of architects, architecture students, academicians, writers, experienced journalists and new journalist candidates from different parts of of the world. 

Recently, the WAC has introduced a new component in the program, and starting from October 2020, the WAC has started to announce the most active Country Editors/Reporters of the month. Valid from October 2020, the announced Country Editors/Reporters receive a Certificate of Appreciation.

Lola Kleindouwel, the Netherlands

Appointed as the Netherlands Country Reporter of WAC on August 17, 2020, Lola is based in the Netherlands and graduated from the Architecture and the Built Environment at Delft University of Technology in 2018. 

Since her appointment to the program, Lola has been one of the most active names among other Country Reporters/Editors. She was also named as one of the most active Country Reporters in October. 

Reaching three stories in November, Lola is following a successful path in her career in detailed thinking, reporting and research. Lola moderated a live talk with 3XN founder Kim Herforth Nielsen as part of WAC's Live Interview Series. You can watch Lola's live interview on WAC's IGTV.

On Thursday, December 10 at 09:30 (CET), Lola Kleindouwel will be moderating a new live talk with Indian architect Anupama Kundoo on WAC's Instagram. The talk is themed as "Taking Time In Architecture".

Pappal Suneja was appointed as WAC's India Country Reporter on December 13, 2017 and after his great success in the program, he was upgraded as WAC's India Country Editor in May 2020 due to his successful editorial and managerial skills. 

Being a great entrepreneur in digital journalism, Pappal successfully drives his career in the program for choosing the right local news and reporting short stories that require a keen eye to detail. Pappal is currently a Research Scholar at Stiftung Bauhaus Dessau, Germany. 

In November Pappal has broken a record by reaching six stories in total in the program. Further, he moderated several live talks as part of WAC's Live Interview Series, including Sanjay Puri, Krupa Zubin, Nuru Karim, Sameep Padora, BIG's Jamie Maslyn Larson and SO-IL founders Jing Liu and Florian Idenburg
