Design intentions
A modern, single-story office environment with voluminous interior and exterior spaces that allow free mobility for office life. Building O forms part of an urban plan within Market Street. The approach is to craft organic, rural forms, which articulate transparency and movement within. The key concept is to engage an urban “event” space. The sharp edge of the two-story glass wall within, the rusted corrugated steel gable roof, emphasize space and movement. The office users have an enriching, daily visual experience to the outside. Natural materials and colors of steel and wood are used to refine the identity of the building.
