Maulik Bansal completed his Masters in Urban Design in 2011 from University of California, Berkeley. Previously, he has been associated with Romi Khosla Design Studios, an architectural design firm based in New Delhi, India. Maulik was part of the Core design team and worked there for nearly ten years. Maulik has worked extensively on large and small scale projects. These range from master-planning for housing townships, institutional building complexes, civic buildings and residential projects. At Berkeley, Maulik developed skills to address urban dynamics of a developed economy (USA), as well as understand the rapid growth witnessed by China (through an international workshop to Shanghai) and Brazil (through his Design Thesis based on the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, 2016). His past experience in India only adds to this understanding of urban forces that are at work in various parts of the globe.
