Farshid is a member of the International Design Committee (IDC) in London and a member of the Design and Architecture Advisory Group to the British Council. She served as the Chairperson on the 2004 Aga Khan Award for Architecture Master Jury and had acted as jury member for numerous international architectural competitions and awards, most recently the RIBA Gold Medal 2004. Farshid is part of the Steering Committee for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture since 2005. Since 2007, she has been a member of ‘Design for London’ Advisory Group, established by the London Mayor to support excellence in design in projects across London.
