DOnner SOrcinelli ARCHITECTURE (DOSO) is an award-winning Architecture Atelier, dedicated to creating innovative design solutions. Founded in 2002 by Architects Luca Donner and Francesca Sorcinelli, the Studio pays specific attention to the theme of sustainable and affordable design in all its variants by developing solutions worldwide. Multidisciplinary design philosophy is a distinctive feature of the team. DOSO intention is to explore new ways of living and working that overcome conventions and make it possible to improve the users’ quality of life by focusing on cultural sustainability as well as energy and environment-related issues. DOSO projects have been extensively published in architecture books and international magazines e.g. Ottagono, ARQA, d’Architectures, Concept, Paysage. The firm has been exhibited at Architecture Biennale of Venice, Young Italian Architects Biennial, Architecture Center Houston, The Architecture Foundation London, Van Alen Institute of New York, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebaek, Museum of Architecture Moscow, Daegu Architectural Culture Biennale and 24th UIA Tokyo Congress. DOSO has been awarded in various International architecture competitions as well as it's winner of “20 10 X World Architecture Community Award”, “Cityscape Architectural Review Award” and “SAIE Selection Awards”. It has received an Honorary Mention at Modern Atlanta Prize, an Acknowledgement Prize at Holcim Awards for sustainable constructions (Africa and Middle-East region) and it has been Nominated by Korean Institute of Architects among “100 Architects of year 2022”. Luca Donner is Assistant Professor at American University in the Emirates (Dubai) while Francesca Sorcinelli is Assistant Professor at Zayed University (Dubai).
