ACCOLADE APARTMENT BUILDING
…a social belonging.

Accolade is a multifamily residential building where a careful juxtaposition of human, nature & forms takes place. The project is a six storied building having 14 apartments of different size including duplexes, simplexes and split leveled penthouse. All the apartments are placed in such a way as to get summer wind from southeast and sunlight in winter.

The intention was to make the building “single unit residential out look” in order to enhance the social bondage. A “room for the green”, visible form the road, has been built on the 5th floor, creating awareness regarding the relationship between building and nature. The conventional boundary wall has been eliminated, keeping the security intact and a traditional “Mer” has been created in a transformed way in order to integrate the building & road together.
