student`s final project

the project intention is to create a tourism building, in this case a city hotel, to help promote the city.

located in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, the designer want to express the greatness of traditional arts through the high-tech construction method. Jaipong dance is a form of traditional art from West Java, it represented on the dynamicity of the building and the ornamental secondary skin represents the dancer whom wearing shawl. the ornament itself is taken from javanese batik pattern.
