S-House by Yuusuke Karasawa Architects

Narrow house was built in the residential area, near the Omiya Station. Was connected by a floor eaves that are laminated by shifting the space of two layers, provided between the floor, creating a space intricate network-wise.Void is formed in the center of the space, the visual is connected to the space ahead of the void, but is not possible to reach it without detour flow line in order to arrive. By to live a short and long distances and distances in one space and embed various distances related to the interior of the building, it is to be able to perceive and experience a larger space than the actual space. Called "a complex network of hierarchy like" the way of such a space, I'm trying to present as a prototype of architectural space suitable for the age of the network and information.
