An architecturally themed pub quiz specially commissioned for Nine Elms on the South Bank, in partnership with Londonist, to be held on Battersea Barge. Londonist editor-at-large Matt Brown will test the audience’s London knowledge with 50 fact-tastic questions based on the capital’s past, present and future buildings. 

A host of London-themed prizes are up for grabs!

Doors open on 18 June 2015 at 6.30pm and the quiz will begin at 7pm and finish at 9pm. Attendees will have until 10pm to finish up any drinks.

London Architecture Festival starts 1 June and will continue 30 June 2015.Nine Elms on the South Bank is a “Work in Progress” – the theme for this year’s London Festival of Architecture (LFA).Previously an industrial part of London, the area is undergoing a vast regeneration to create a new central London district. A place to work, live and play is starting to take shape.

LFA 2015: Public Nine Elms - a new place for London. A walking tour led by Chris Law RIBA, Public Realm and Development Director at Vauxhall One Business Improvement District. The walk will begin at the Tea House Theatre and take in Damien Hirst’s new Newport Street Gallery, the Garden Museum, the new developments along Albert Embankment, through Vauxhall, along Nine Elms Lane, passing the new US Embassy and ending at Battersea Power Station.......Continue Reading

LFA 2015: Animating Nine Elms - the arches strategy. A walking tour led by Robin Hughes MRICS, Commercial Estate Property Manager at Network Rail. Network Rail owns 170 railway arches in the area.  Robin will be explaining the evolving strategy for improving the vibrancy of the area with Network Rail’s arch refurbishment programme. The panel will explore the challenges of creating a sense of place in a diverse area which will deliver a mixture of residential, commercial and leisure developments.
